As I stepped out of my front door, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation. My mail carrier was scheduled to deliver a much-needed package, and I had been waiting all day for its arrival. Little did I know, this delivery would turn out to be a frustrating experience that would leave me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

It wasn't until 2:55 pm that the mail carrier finally pulled into my driveway, and even then, the excitement was short-lived. As I opened the package, I was taken aback by its condition. It seemed as though the delivery driver had simply dropped it in the middle of nowhere, without so much as a word of explanation.

I couldn't believe my eyes - this was not what I had been expecting. As I checked the status online, I was shocked to see that the package had been marked 'attempted' delivery, but there was no record of anyone attempting to deliver it. It seemed as though the mail carrier had simply given up and left the package lying in the middle of our shared drive.

To make matters worse, when I called the annex to report the issue, I was met with a condescending and rude employee who argued that they were 'holding' the package for me to pick up, because that's what I had told them I wanted to do in the future. I couldn't believe the audacity.

This is not the first time we've experienced issues with our mail carrier. Last week, they delivered a package down the road from our house, rather than to our actual address. It seems as though the employees on this route are more interested in doing their own thing than actually getting the job done.

As I sat there, staring at the torn and battered package, I couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and disappointment. I had been looking forward to receiving my package all day, and now it seemed as though it was going to be delayed once again. I just wanted someone to take responsibility for their actions and apologize for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, that apology never came. Instead, I was left feeling like I was the one who was at fault, simply because I had chosen not to accept my package immediately. It's experiences like this that make me wonder if it's worth continuing to use the USPS service.

In the end, I was forced to take a trip to the post office to resolve the issue and get my package delivered properly. It's a hassle that could have been avoided with a little more attention to detail and customer service from the mail carrier.
